Peat water fördet the well-being...

In the peat water are for shrimps a lot of important Huminsäuren which they need to the life and matter to the well-being. One thereby acidulates the water in what optimum value PH of most kinds, like, E.G., White Pearl, Blue Pearl, poison Green Zwerggarnele, Yellow Fire, tiger's shrimp and Red Fire/cherry provides. Moreover, one thereby achieves a better plant growth, because more Co2 (carbon dioxide) is released in the aquarium. One can stow away the Toftgranulat, E.G., in a piece of "sock trousers" and then hang simply in the aquarium. I use for some 54 litres of aquariums 100 grammes of peat granulate material and have a value PH of 6.8. Our tap water has a value of 7.6. The peat granulate material had to go after 4 - 6 weeks are renewed, because it loses his effect. Peat granulate material clouds the water.

Ground reason simply and fast exchange

If one liked to exchange the ground reason in the aquarium, one can move this simply and fast. I have made this in a Red Bee Becken where I have converted from Quazsand to Shirakura Red Bee Sand. It is important if one behind immediately the animals reinstated would want that one so many aquarium waters catches as possible. As the very first I have done all plants in a bucket. Then the second bucket half-filled with the aquarium water made where the animals walked in. Now I have cleaned the ground reason with a Mulmglocke thoroughly. I have the last gulp of water (about 5 litres) incl. sand with a 16 mm wear out in a separate bucket sucked off. thus one gets fast and simply the water and the gravel / sand from the aquarium. The whole procedure lasted with me about 15 minutes. Result: One saves the time with the long one out collect of the ground reason, this is simply sucked off with a tube in a separate bucket.

The right water values

The germ density hold low

Shrimps love a low germ density, hence, it is to be carried out importantly regular wasserwechsel. Germs live on feed leftovers which result in every aquarium and increase terrifically. Germs retreat on the animals. This affects the well-being. One takes 54 litres of aquarium as an example; every week full 1 litre of bottle of "Coca Cola" results in the aquarium. One anyway makes the week wasserwechsel from 50%. Therefore one gets half a bottle of Coca Cola from the aquarium again. Now, however, a bottle of coke results next week again. Now we are already with 1.5 litres of Coca Cola in the aquarium. We make ours again wasserwechsel from 50%. There remain 0.75 litres of coke in the aquarium. The next week a bottle of coke results again. Now there are already 1.75 litres. And thus goes on endlessly. In this case "Coca Cola" is the germ density. After some time the germ density is so high and the animals catch in to ail. Hence, a water change cannot be avoided and should be carried out regularly.

Plan arias treat with Flubenol

Flubenol! A wonder drug are concerned against plan arias, however, also snails like; tower lid snails and apple snails, because these kinds are very sensitive. Post horn and bubbles snails should get over the treatment, nevertheless, with right dose. With Flubenol P it concerns the active substance "Flubendazol broadband Anthelminthikum" with cats and dogs is used. It restrains selectively and irreversible the construction of the intestinal cells of plan arias. The digestion of the animals is thereby disturbed. The affected cells die and it comes to the death of the plan arias. One gets 1 Applikator with 7.5ml gel for giving with the veterinarian. 1ml gel contains 44 mg Flubendazol. The dosage recommendation of Flubenol lies with 0.2 g on 100 litres of water. The dose is in 1 litre of water 0.0416ml. I use for my 54 litres of aquariums 2ml of the gel. For 30 litres Nano Cube would be then about 1.2ml. Nevertheless, of the eggs the Flubenol does not damage. Hence, I recommend the treatment after 2 - 3 weeks to widerholen. This is important from they collect of the dead animals (plan arias and snails) there the water strongly load and the aquarium "tipping over" is able, just in small aquariums.

Of the "waters Fleeing" test

Water would flee still react much more sensitively to copper than shrimps. Most coppers droplet tests indicate only a value from 0.1 mg / l. Nevertheless, quite lying underneath values of shrimps are injurious or are deadly. Now one can simply use some Wasserflöhe. If copper is included, the fleeing are dead within pair of minutes. If they live, nevertheless, a few days in the aquarium one can be unconcerned. It is not the tiny amount of copper in the aquarium. For this test are suited very well Wasserflöhe of the type "Daphnia" which one should get in every zoo business of about 1.50 euros.
